Welcome to Iron Range Goldens, owned by Luke and Jessica Matheson. We are located in a small town of Bovey, Minnesota. We breed quality Golden Retrievers! Here at Iron Range Goldens, we start our puppies off right by using a program called the Super Dog . We believe early neurological stimulation exercises have important and lasting effects on our puppies. Our dogs have OFA testing and are also tested for Progressive Retinal Atrophy or PRA-prcd, Golden Retriever PRA GR-PRA1 & GR-PRA2, Muscular Dystrophy, Degenerative Myelopathy, Ichthyosis 1 & 2 and Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis.

“We could not have asked for a better breeder. Jessica was SO great a communicating. We got updates at least once a week with pictures and videos. They played desensitization music for the puppies to get them used to all sorts of noises and sounds, introduced them to the crate & gave recommendations for food, brushes bed ect. The amount of research, love and care that goes into their breeding is unmatched! We are so happy we got our puppy from them & have had nothing but compliments on his temperament so far! He passed his basic obedience and is now heading for his cgc title.
